이화여자대학교 북미주동창회는 2003년 장학위원회를 발족하고, 지난 22년간 매 해 만 불의 장학금을 지원하고 있습니다. 본 동창회는 학문적인 우수성과 바른 인성, 그리고 지도력을 겸비한 인재들을 발굴하여, 한인으로서의 뿌리와 정체성에 자긍심을 가지고 성장할 수 있도록 응원하고 격려하고자 합니다. 최경숙(영문, 66) 동문 가족이 북미주 가정에 입양된 한인 입양아 대학 또는 대학원생을 위한 장학기금을 마련하였고, 윤영희 (의대, 70) 동문이 의대 재학생 2명에게 북미주 동창회를 통해 매해 만 불의 장학금을 지불하고 있습니다. 인재 양성은 우리 모두의 희망이며, 이를 위한 동창회의 노력은 앞으로도 계속될 것입니다.
이대북미주장학금은 북미주에 거주하고 있는 이화 졸업 동문 유학생, 이화여대 졸업 동문 자녀, 손자/손녀, 한인 입양 대학(원)생이 장학금 지원 자격이 됩니다. Community College부터 대학원까지 북미주 거주 이화인 가족과 한인 입양 대학(원)생에게 열린 이 장학사업이 앞으로 더욱 많은 장학기금을 조성할 수 있도록 여러 동문들의 협조를 부탁드립니다.

EWUAANA SCHOLARSHIP
The Ewha Womans University Alumnae Association of North America will continue to award scholarships for 2025/2026. The scope of scholarship eligibility is college or graduate school students who are Ewha graduates or children of Ewha alumnae residing in North America.
The Scholarship Program awards a $10,000 scholarship annually. It is supported by the generosity of many alumnae who want to promote the development of our most important human resource, our young people. Leaving a legacy of cultivating talented young people of good character and social leadership skills is the hope of all of us.
In addition to the EWUAANA scholarship, two scholarships are distributed through our association. Alumna Younghee Yoon (Medicine, 70) has been contributing $10,000 annually to the support of two students at Ewha University Medical School. The family of alumna Kyungsook Choi (English, 66) has provided $10,000 to support Korean-American adoptee students.
The required documents are an application form, an essay, two recommendation letters, a transcript, and proof of enrollment. The deadline for submitting documents is September 23, 2025.
